Island Street Viewing Area Unavailable for
Fourth of July Fireworks
Residents are advised that the usual Fourth of July fireworks parking and viewing area on Island Street will not be available this year.
This area is currently being used as a construction staging location for Phase 1 of the Centralville Sewer Separation Project. As a result, public access to this area will be restricted during the fireworks event.
Residents who typically park and view the fireworks from Island Street are encouraged to plan ahead and select an alternate viewing location.
