Work is expected to continue near VFW Parkway. During the week of September 14, crews anticipate working around the new underground junction chamber and outfall, including excavation and support work. Culvert installation is expected during the week of September 21, followed by additional work around the junction chamber and outfall during the week of September 28.
This is expected to remain an active work area over the next several weeks.
Kirk Street and French Street
Water main work is scheduled to continue along Kirk Street and French Street.
Bunker Hill Avenue
Crews are expected to continue installing a new culvert and 12-inch sewer pipe on Bunker Hill Avenue between West Sixth Street and Hildreth Street.
Water and sewer service and catch basin work are also anticipated between West Sixth Street and Lakeview Avenue during the week of September 14.
A 24-hour road closure is anticipated on Bunker Hill Avenue between West Sixth Street and Hildreth Street while culvert and sewer installation continues. Local residents will continue to have vehicle access to these roads while construction takes place.
